Rules

1) Each week you predict the outcome of our selected battles by using your skill and judgement to forecast their chart positions.

2) To play, enter your predicted chart position (between 1-40) next to each artist.

3) Selected artists will either already be in the Top 40 or making a new entry into the Top 40.

3) Predictions must be placed before 4pm each Sunday.

4) Point scoring
- 1 point - for correctly predicting which artist in each battle lands the higher chart position.
- 1 bonus point - for each chart position you correctly predict.
5) 'Charts' refers to the fabulous Official UK Top 40 as heard on lovely BBC Radio 1 each and ever Sunday from 4pm.

6) We reserve the right to amend the line-up at any time, We will notify you by carrier pigeon if we do. Failing that, we'll use email.

7) If circumstances beyond our control muck things up, our special Charts Panel will decide chart positions. Their decision is final.

8) On the rare occasion that an artist fails to make the Top 40, their chart position will be entered as 41.

9) There are probably more rules than this, but we haven’t thought of them yet. We reserve the right to add new rules when we think of them, or when we catch someone cheating.

To log into the system enter your username and password into the Login box on the top left of the screen.
If you have forgotten your password then you can request that it is sent to you using the email address you gave when you created your user.

Creating a new user

To be able to participate in the Prediction League you need to create a user profile. This is created by selecting the New User link from the right hand column.

Select a User ID to identify yourself in the prediction league. This can be anything you like as long as it is not already taken by another user.

Enter a password (twice). This is to ensure no-one else can change your predictions.

You must enter a valid email address to join the prediction league. This is used to have your password mailed to should you forget it.

Prediction Table
Display the current standings.

Chart Positions
Display the fixtures and results.

My Missing Predictions
Display the games where you have not yet made a prediction.

My Predictions
Display or change the predictions you have made so far.

My Profile
Change your user preferences. You can change your password, username, icon, email address here.

Logout
Logout from the predictoin league.

My Messages
Display any messages that other users have sent to you.

You can use messaging to send messages to other users and likewise other users can send messages to you. To send a message to another user, click the

icon when you see it next a another user.
